Three University students
and a University instructor,
charged with showing an ob-
| scene film in the U-M's Cinema

'yesterday in Circuit Court and
not guilty pleas were entered

I The three students — Ellen
IP. Frank, Mary E. Barkey and
'Elliott S, Barden, all 20 — were
identified as members of the
Cinema Guild's board of direc-
tors. Hubert I. Cohen, 36, was
S named by police as faculty ad-
! viser ot the guild.

The film, "Flaming Crea-
tures" was ruled obscene Aug.
31 by Ann Arbor Municipal Court
Judge S. J. Elden.

The four defendants will ap-
•ear before Judge William F.
Ager Jr. Sept. 20 at 3:30 p.m.
for a pre-trial hearing to set a
trial date.
